So many of you have been asking about whether this series of cook yourself thin is getting a book. Unfortunately not this series, but the very first series has one, which i co wrote with the other girls and I have just released my own book Kitchen magic which you can get off Amazon.

So the deal is, if we get another series we will be getting another book for sure, so I am praying to the Gods of Channel 4 commissioning. I hope you do too. xxxxx

Just spent the day baking - have already made the lemon and blueberry muffins (courgette, what a fantastic veg!) and they went down very well with the family. Have just made the strawberry and cream cupcakes to take to a tea party tomorrow, they look fabulous.

I am aspiring for a career in the industry and am starting a culinary diploma in September, Gizzi you inspire me! Thankyou :)

They need to put it on in the evenings as well!! How many other busy working mums like me would benefit from the programme, but can’t watch it tucked away on daytime? At least I saw it in the Radio Times and set my recorder to record the whole series, but really, it would be perfect at 8.30pm on C4. Come on, Channel 4!

Can’t believe there is no book for this fabulous series and that it’s been hidden away in the afternoon slot on channel 4. I have loved nearly every recipe. Love your style and your cooking!

There’s no book, which is a shame but is the CYT website done with your input, and if so, how much?

I’d like to sign up but I’m unsure how much you have to do with it.

I found you by a circular root. After seeing the end of Harry’s interview last spring on This Morning discussing the vegs in her cakes and about how they had 40% less sugar than ordinary one’s, it took me nearly a year to track down the book (I missed the title and wave of the book)and the author’s name (she wasn’t personally thanked at the end of the interview.) I almost started believing I imagined it!

Once I found RV&CH, that linked me into CYT and finally you. All I can say is “Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!” I was diagnosed with coeliac disease 3 years ago, so I don’t eat much processed food. As you probably know, most g/f food is pretty grim and g/f cakes are sooooooooo sweet. I just couldn’t figure out how to lose weight because, it seemed everything I was doing was the right thing to do.

CYT has made me far more rigorous regarding portion control and fat conscious. Harry’s book has given me the bakery indulgences I need. And I’m losing weight and interested in what I’m cooking.

I have started creating my own cake recipes inspired by Harry’s book, but I need help with the science. How do you calculate how much veg to put in? Which veg? Is ground almonds for fat, gramme for gramme? I am determined to convert a brilliant Caribbean Christmas cake recipe. Old style, big flavours, loads of fruits, nuts, spices and alcohol. If you or Harry can help me, you can have the recipe. You’d love it.

Please mail me. Thanks again, and in anticipation. :)
