Actually - I cant take credit for that - my boyfriend did. Easy name to remember and all, but somehow forgot and they are Green in a environmentally friendly way too.

hey gizzi!
i was just wondering what happened to the other chefs from season 1. i really like the format of this series because you cook directly with the people who need you and there’s less time wasted explaining how the calory counting machine worked … but i much prefered the style you had in season 1 - sorry to be honest but i think the way they’ve styled you like the 50/60s makes you look much older than you are instead of a glam sexy woman who could cook clever and stay slim forever! love the show though and have already tried the cupcakes which were lovely. xxx
Suzanne Chapman on June 26th, 2010 at 1:41 amThanks for the message Suzanne, although kinda gutted by what you said. In the first series I was styled down. I have been into 50s and 60s music since I was a teen and have been on the rockabilly and 60s garage scene for what feels like forever! The look you think they have styled me as is the most authentic looking I have ever been allowed to be on TV so I’m in my element. I am not remotely glam or sexy. A total klutz in fact and I dress the way I do for my love of music.
Im sorry you feel that way, but its who I am so its staying
So pleased you enjoyed making the cupcakes

Hey Gizzi,
Francesca on June 28th, 2010 at 2:44 amAbsolutely loving the new series of cook yourself thin and I have to disagree with what Suzanne said, I love the new format with just one on one. Also, was really sureal serving you at work today, I was just watching an episode of cook yourself thin before I came to work. You were incredibly polite and very friendly and love your tattoos!
Hope the rest of the series works out well and I wish you all the best with your future. xxx
First up - thanks for hunting this down - I’ve definitely got my eye on that wok.
And second - how’s that for a 1-2-punch in the name of honesty?! I agree with Francesca - the 1:1 format really works. I love the way you relate to people - and as for your style - well, you’re the epitome of glam. You’ve got a brilliant look - all the moreso because it’s authentic, not the product of a homogenised image factory.
Can’t wait to see what recipes this week has in store.
Thanks Gizzi.
Ottilie on June 28th, 2010 at 1:37 pmHey Gizzi
I love your show and was wondering- do you have any healthy recipies for a soon-to-be student on a tight budget?
Emma on June 28th, 2010 at 1:37 pmxx
Gizzi, I think you look fab! It’s so rare that producers will put someone on tv who is alternative or an individual in any way and I simply adore your look.
And thanks for finding the pans!
Diana on June 28th, 2010 at 5:17 pmI completely disagree
I think that your style is so cool and its nice to see someone on tele that doesnt look like they have been manufactured, you look completely true to yourself
I think the first series, which I watched after liking this one, although good, it didn’t let you flourish which was a shame as I think that you’re the best chef we’ve seen for years
and I’m just an average teenage boy, someone who you’d never think would watch shows like this, but I do secretly proper like cooking programmes and this was is my favourite
ps, i’m glad you’re keeping that style, you stand out from most girls on tv and your tattoo is ace!
Wil on June 28th, 2010 at 10:37 pmGizzi—I too disagree with Suzanne’s comments. Your talents and lovely warmth shine through and you don’t need anybody else on your platform. I love the one-to-one as it sets each episode into a context and I related to all those women and their eating challenges. Please please please can we have another series? But this time can you give us a suppliers’ page that not only lists the pans and utensils but also the fab clothes that you wear. Wish I had half your style…Love L
LINDA on June 29th, 2010 at 7:44 pmHi Gizzi
Love CYT show, I hope they do commission another programme and I like the recipes you are showing. I have just made the lemon cake and it is delicious. I will be trying one of your savoury dishes this week too. Love the way you look and would love a book with the recipes in from the show. All the best. Caroline
Caroline on June 30th, 2010 at 8:05 pmI loved the recipe in the NofW mag last week - I hate cooking and this gave me hope. Can you put your cook yourself thin recipes in a category on your website so they are easy to find please. I will be first in the que for the book!
Paula on July 4th, 2010 at 8:30 amI have been living in the UK for 2 years. There have always been jokes floating about in the USA about English food “declaring war on flavor.” I have tried 3-4 recipes (reluctantly at first) and was absolutely amazed with how good they are. I am so bummed I will be moving back to the states and won’t be able to watch your show anymore. I am a foodie and LOVE the Chicken Katsu. I love that you are incorporating the use of natural sweeteners, and have veered away from sugar substitutes made in a laboratory.
Liz on July 6th, 2010 at 4:42 pmI read one of the earlier comments, and disagree completely. Rockabilly is where it’s at, and I find it refreshing to see someone with some ink and personal style on TV. If you are ever interested in low-fat american treats I am your gal! Awesome job lil’ lady!
loved making your scrummy sausage rolls, also loving your audrey hepburn look x
tallulah from borehamwood on August 10th, 2010 at 5:26 pmThanks for posting the pan details. They are gorgeous but way out of my price range at the moment.
jillybean on August 17th, 2010 at 6:00 pmjust tried out the katsu curry and it is divine way better than most I’ve tried and really easy to follow who’d have known that cornflakes would be the perfect way to coat chicken.

Gizzi - the vegetarian recipes go down a storm in my household. More please.
