Hi Guys once again thanks a million for all the encouragement. I have to say in reply to one comment about the 1 cal sprays that I am really anti them. They are a processed product, (just look at the labeling) and contain a tiny amount of natural ingredients, so please guys do not be suckered into buying them. They are also really rubbish to cook with not giving nearly enough lubrication. To save money you can buy a clear plastic spray bottle from a place like Muji or the spray bottle we used in the show were from Gill Wing kitchen supplies, but you can get a whole array of them of places like amazon. Just type in pump oil sprays. The pans are driving me nuts. I cannot remember where they are from. The TV peeps at Tiger aspect keep saying Le creuset, (thats what I have at home BTW) and Im sure they are not, but I will get back to you with this I promise. Will write a new post soon. Have been doing This morning, photo shoots, helping host Taste Festivals awards ceremony and it was the CYT wrap party all this week and am totally whacked.xxxx

Have only recently caught your ‘cook yourself thin’ prog. was instantly hooked. now have your show on automatic record, so that I don’t miss any! Love your retro style and, also, its great to see a chef who manages to get her message across without having to resort to non-stop swearing and bullying! Lovely lady with a great future. well done!
linda curry on June 18th, 2010 at 9:07 pmDear Gizzi,
I happened to stumble across you the other day on GMTV, I very much like the recipes and your hole vintage sense of things. You remind me of myself Gizzi, (In the vintage-way) *Cough, Forward..
I am a Enthusiast and Collector of the original Walt Disney Herbie films. I have tracked down 2 original Disney screen-used Herbie cars and had the opportunity to sit in them.
I wondered what your take on the films are.
Kind wish’s & Keep up the good food, ~ James
James on June 19th, 2010 at 1:07 amHi Gizzi,
Just wanted to say that I’ve been searching everywhere for the non-stick pans you use on the show and can’t seem to find them anywhere! They look amazing though!
I’d also like to add that not only is the show great but that you are an absolute style icon! I always marvel at your gorgeous clothes and would love to know if they’re strictly from vintage shops? They are stunning!
Una Masic on June 19th, 2010 at 9:24 amnice to see a healthier way to cook your favorite foods do you have a thai veggie recipe at all?
pebbles on June 21st, 2010 at 3:44 pmI must second Una’s comment about wanting to know where those beautiful, enaml blue pan’s that are used on CYT are from! They seem wonderful.
As is the show!
Diana on June 21st, 2010 at 4:23 pmI’m definitely going to invest in an oil pump!! You’re a brilliant cook, and so easy to follow as well.
You’re incredibly talented Gizzi and you have a fantastic future ahead of you

Lauren on June 22nd, 2010 at 8:54 pmJust watching you make Turkish Delight Brownies and they look awesome - really enjoying the new series…
LOVE Gill Wing kitchen shop… their jewellery store stocks my work, and I can always spend hours browsing the cooking goodies when I am in London!
Congrats on the new series!
Abigail Percy on June 23rd, 2010 at 3:13 pmI think Gizzi uses some blue Le creuset pans but the frying pan is one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Typhoon-Greenpan-Anodised-Induction-Vienna/dp/B001O9B9S8/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1277331627&sr=1-4

Lisa on June 24th, 2010 at 1:02 pmThank you! I did buy a one cal spray and thought it was awful, so I was delighted when I saw you using a refillable one on the show. I have now ordered one from Cooking Marvellous (www.cookingmarvellous.com/) along with the handy spaghetti measurer you used (I always cook too much). WM
Working Mum on June 24th, 2010 at 2:18 pmInspired by your programme I used a one-cal spray someone had left in my kitchen cupboard. But after the dish had gone through the dishwasher it came out with a kind of baked-on plastic coating. What is in that stuff???
Elizabeth on June 25th, 2010 at 9:58 pmI am a young women with an abnormally large sweet tooth so all your sweet treats are of particular interest! I had bowel cancer last year so it is of great importance that I try and avoid processed foods (which I have been finding very difficult) but I am inspired to try out all your recipes. They all appear to be super achievable with easy to get your hands on ingredients which is always a must for me. Thanks Gizzi!
Gillian on June 26th, 2010 at 1:57 pmBoth my daughter and myself enjoyed all the programmes. I really do need to lose loads of weight, but love cooking, and have a very sweet tooth. I found the recipes to be very interesting and intend to cook a lot of them. I know they are on tv website, but is there a book to go with the series.
Jenny Price on July 1st, 2010 at 6:20 pmLoved the idea of measuring out the amount of oil used in recipes - that’s certainly been my downfall. Did a stirfry last night, and measured a couple of teaspoons of oil - you really couldn’t tell the difference.
